Oxana Rybina –
President

I arrived in Québec in 2017 with my family and, like many newcomers, I had to learn the language, adapt, and find my place. Step by step, I went through this journey until becoming a Canadian citizen.

With a degree in French teaching and over 20 years of experience in the tourism industry, I have always worked closely with people.
After moving to Québec, I decided to take a new path and train in human resources management — but my mission has always remained the same: to help people move forward and reach their goals.

Today, through the CECFQ, I bring this experience to every student. I know first-hand the linguistic, cultural, and emotional challenges that come with learning a new language or starting a new life in a new country.

That is why the CECFQ was created: not only as a place to learn French, but also as a welcoming space where you feel understood and supported.

Graduated in teaching French as a foreign language (FLE) and with over 25 years of experience, I support learners from around the world in mastering the French language. Authorized examiner-corrector for the DELF-DALF, TCF, and TEF certifications, particularly for the TCF Québec, TCF Canada, TEF Québec, and TEF Canada tests. I am also a trainer for DELF-DALF examiners, specializing in preparing professionals for assessment and correction according to CEFR standards.

My international background has led me to create, develop, and manage various structures dedicated to promoting French. Among other roles, I am a co-founder of two Alliances Françaises, which has allowed me to gain recognized expertise in setting up educational programs and organizing official DELF-DALF, TCF, and TEF exam centers. This dual experience – managing Alliances Françaises and overseeing exams – is an essential asset for offering high-quality training that meets international standards.

Gilles Lavoie –
French Teacher

Passionate about languages and intercultural exchange, I have been teaching French as a Second Language since 2019 in Québec and abroad. Teaching allows me to combine what I love most: learning continuously and sharing knowledge with enthusiasm.

With a unique background that began in public health, I chose to follow my passion for teaching and supporting learners in their progress. As a certified DELF-DALF examiner, I also collaborate each year with the Alliance Française of Puebla, Mexico.

At CECFQ, I bring energy, creativity, and personalized guidance to help every student build confidence and truly enjoy learning French.

Delphine Schnuriger –
French Teacher

Passionate about the French language and the sharing of knowledge, I have been teaching for several years to learners of all levels, from A1 to C2.

My goal is to help each student progress—whether by building and deepening vocabulary and grammar, or by developing comprehension and expression, both written and oral.

I also support those preparing for official exams (DELF, DALF, TCF, TEF), offering effective methods and targeted practice.

During conversation classes, I enjoy teaching authentic expressions from everyday life, while also placing students in professional contexts to help them discover the specificities of business French.

My approach combines rigor, kindness, and adaptability to each learner’s needs, so that learning French becomes both effective and motivating.

Nikou Ghassemi –
French Teacher

My name is Nikou, and I have been teaching French with passion for 9 years.

I hold a PhD in French Language and Literature and am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in FLE, which has allowed me to build solid expertise that I share with my students.

As a certified examiner (DELF, DALF, TCF, TEF), I offer targeted and effective support for preparing official exams.

But beyond diplomas, I see each class as a true space for exchange, discovery, and the joy of learning.
My goal is not only to pass on linguistic knowledge but also to instill the confidence and motivation needed to progress and succeed.

I look forward to welcoming you to class and sharing with you this exciting journey of learning French!

Living, working, and settling in another country is much more than a change of environment: it is a cultural, human, and therefore linguistic adventure. This conviction has been shaped through my own international journey, particularly in Indonesia, where I created and ran my own business for seven years.

It was this experience that led me to teaching French as a Foreign Language. I hold a University Diploma in FLE as well as a Master’s degree in language teaching methodology. Today, I teach French to adult and teenage learners with diverse profiles: international students, professionals, individuals in integration programs, and people pursuing immigration pathways.

I teach both in person and online, using a learner-centered approach focused on real needs and on developing students’ autonomy in their learning process. Alongside teaching, I am a certified DELF/DALF examiner and marker, as well as a TCF evaluator, which allows me to fully understand the expectations of official language certifications.

At CECFQ, I will help you not only improve your French, but also move forward confidently in your life, academic, or settlement project, within a supportive, structured, and demanding learning environment.

Enzo Pacheco –
French Teacher

With a degree in teaching French as a foreign language, I’ve spent the past eight years teaching FLE at several Alliances Françaises across Latin America - first in Havana, then Zacatecas, and now in Cuenca, Ecuador, where I currently serve as Academic Director.

I’ve taught learners of all profiles, with a strong focus on preparing adults for DELF–DALF and TCF exams (for which I am a certified examiner-grader), as well as for the oral interaction components of the Diplôme de Français Professionnel and the TEF. As a non-native French speaker myself, I understand the learner’s perspective - I’ve been in your place.

My approach is rooted in kindness and adaptability. I aim to make every class a supportive, confidence-building environment where instruction is tailored to each student’s goals and needs.

French as a Foreign Language (FLE) Instructor – TCF Examiner-Grader

With a Master’s degree in FLE, I support learners from A1 to C2 with a clear priority: build confidence, develop speaking fluency, and make French a natural reflex in both daily life and professional settings.

I am a certified TCF examiner-grader and was honored to be awarded the Chevalier des Palmes académiques in recognition of my contribution to promoting the French language and culture.

My career has led me to teach diverse international audiences—expatriates, professionals, and diplomatic staff— notably within several Alliances Françaises, which has shaped a teaching approach that is rigorous, adaptable, and deeply human.

“No magic: method, structure, a living language, and modern content.”
My courses are fully personalized, highly practical, and conducted in a supportive, structured atmosphere. Error is treated as a tool for progress: we speak, refine, consolidate—and progress becomes visible week after week.

I work on both everyday French (administrative procedures, day-to-day interactions) and professional French (meetings, emails, presentations), closely aligned with the realities of France and Canada.

I also offer targeted preparation for TCF, TEF, DELF, and DALF, with specific training in speaking and writing. Results follow: my learners reach their goals thanks to structured, strategic, and motivating guidance.

I would be delighted to help you make French not a hurdle, but a genuine reflex.
