Already studying at CECFQ? Your teacher tells you the next step, no need to retake the test.<\/p>\n<p>Each CEFR level (A1, A2, B1, B2) is split into four steps, so you progress without skipping anything:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>A1.1 \u2013 A1.4<\/strong>: from complete beginner to advanced beginner. Understand and be understood in simple everyday situations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>A2.1 \u2013 A2.4<\/strong>: consolidate the basics and speak with more confidence.<\/li>\n<li><strong>B1.1 \u2013 B1.4<\/strong>: communicate independently at work, in your studies and in daily life.<\/li>\n<li><strong>B2.1 \u2013 B2.4<\/strong>: build precise arguments and understand complex texts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The placement test is taken online and its result stands for your registration, so you join a group moving at your own pace.<\/p>\n<p>Seats are limited to 6 per group. Once a session has started, registration for that group closes: the next session begins in <a href=\"https:\/\/cecfq.ca\/en\/shop\/french-courses-and-workshops\/mini-group-courses\/general-french-courses-november-december-2026\/\">November
